CASEY DEMONS – VFL
CASEY DEMONS vs RICHMOND 12
Mix results for the Casey teams on weekend with the VFL going down to Richmond on Saturday but the development team had a great win away to Sandringham on Sunday. The VFL team had a very slow start which saw them down by 40 points at half time, a spirited half time address resulted in the team clawing back the half time deficit with some spirited contested play but unfortunately was’t enough with Richmond running out 28 point winners. This lost drops Casey out of the 8 with the team sitting 9th on the ladder but still equal on points with 7th, the boys with look to bounce back in two weeks following the bye. The development team had a great win against Sandy on Sunday, they held a slender lead going into the final change and were against the wind in the final quarter. The boys played some spirited team first football in the final term to out score sandy and win the game. The win puts the development league team up to second on the ladder going into the bye week.

BONBEACH FOOTBALL CLUB – MPNFL
BONBEACH VS EDITHVALE ASPENDALE Rd 12
A home game following a disappointing result against Pines last week meant that everyone was expecting Bonbeach to come out breathing fire but unfortunately this result never came. Edi-Asp appeared to beat Bonbeach comprehensively around the ground with many of Bonbeach’s top player’s not having an impact. Coach Stephen Hughes indicated after the game that it was clear Edi-Asp wanted to win more with their season on the line. Bonbeach need to arrest their recent slump in form against Mt Eliza next week in order to stay in contention for top four.
Bonbeach 7.7 – 49
Edi-Asp 12.11 – 83
