Congratulations to Bonbeach senior players Shane McDonald, Dylan Jones and Jackson Casey, who represented the MPNFL last Saturday the 13th May at the MCG.  Fighting it out against the Geelong FL for the number 1 ranking in Victoria, unfortunately went down by 22 points.  Well done boys the whole club is really proud.

Bonbeach vs Seaford Rd 5

Bonbeach travelled to Seaford’s home ground on Saturday the 6th of May and despite an early and competitive start were unable to match the run and pressure of Seaford’s senior team in the second half. A disappointing result with both teams coming into the game with three wins, Bonbeach leaves the weekend moving to 5th place on the ladder. Following a bye this weekend, the boys need to look ahead to the next round where they vs. Frankston YCW, the benchmark of the competition.

Final score:

Seaford 12.14 – 86

Bonbeach 3.10 – 28

Noble Park vs Blackburn Rd 4

All grades had hard fought games against Blackburn this weekend with the only successful side being our Under 19s.  Unfortunately both the Seniors and Reserves had losses.  In the Seniors Blackburn led at all intervals and were too strong both defensively and in attack.  Hopefully the boys can bounce back in two weeks against North Ringwood.  This leaves our Seniors in 4th position, Reserves in 5th position and our Under 19s in 2nd position on the ladder.
