Thats 4 in a row for the Casey Demons. Casey were too strong for the reigning premiers on Saturday night. In a hard fought encounter the Demons were able to kick a few late steading goals to run out eventual 13pts over Footscray. That win places Casey 7th on the VFL ladder and will come against ladder leaders and undefeated Box Hill Hawks on the weekend.

From a non-biased spectator view, this was probably a boring game. However, this was a significant win for the boys who managed to put together a four quarter effort
and really put a team to the sword after a commanding start. Coach Stephen Hughes was most pleased with the defensive efforts of the Sharks keeping Karingal to under
six goals but it is clear Bonbeach is becoming the pressure benchmark of the competition. Bonbeach now moves into second place behind competition favorites Frankston YCW.

NOBLE PARK VS MONTROSE Rd 8
This week Noble Park Football Club took on Montrose Football Club away this week. Noble were dominate in the first 3 quarters of the game leading by 44 points at 3-quarter time. However, Montrose fought back hard in the last quarter kicking 8 goals to Noble Parks 2. Noble were just able to secure the win in the end by 4 points.
Ziggy Alwan kicked an impressive 7 goals and Jordan Marson kicked 3 goals for the day.
Noble Park currently sits in 4th spot on the ladder after 9 rounds. Next week they take on 3rd place South Croydon at the Bull Ring.
